The Board of Ordained Ministry receives applications annually between July 1 and July 31, 2024. Please read the following information carefully, and we look forward to hearing from you as you respond to God’s continued call in your ministry.
The first phase of the application process for full, associate, and provisional membership will be open from July 1, 2024 through July 31, 2024.

Full Membership/Recognition of Orders
To apply for full membership or recognition of orders for the 2024-2025 application cycle click here: https://form.jotform.com/241755341927158
Upon submitting the application, the expanded application packet will be attached to the confirmation email. You can immediately begin to work on your materials. Pay special attention to deadlines. There will be an orientation for those applying for full membership and recognition of orders at the upcoming provisional residency event in September 2024.
* This application process is not for those transferring from other conferences. That application process opens on January 1, 2025 and will go live on the Clergy Excellence transfer page.
Provisional Membership

Upon submitting the application, next steps will be attached to the confirmation email. You can immediately begin to work on your materials to submit to your dCom for your recommendation interview. Once recommended you will receive additional information about the application process.

Associate Membership
In 2023, the Board of Ordained Ministry voted to change the Associate Membership Application process from a one-year application process to a two-year application process. Upon applying for associate membership through phase 1 and receiving a recommendation of the District Committee on Ordained Ministry, the associate applicant would enter the provisional residency process for one year. The following year they are eligible to apply for phase two of the application process and submit their materials to be eligible to interview.
