Servant Sister Scholarship
Applications due July 1
Scholarships for women enrolled in an accredited seminary who are called to ministries of Word, Worship and Witness, who are candidates for ministry, and who indicate potential for developing creative ministries for a more just world.

Service Loan and Pell Grant for Seminary Education
Fall and Spring Application due by July 1
Spring or Summer Application due by October 1
For students enrolled in seminary working toward the first professional degree, service loans, scholarships, and grants are available. Application can be found here

CPE Scholarship
Scholarship for Clinical Pastoral Education
Summer CPE Application due by April 1
Fall CPE Application due by July 1
Winter and Spring CPE Application due by October 1
In order to apply for full membership and ordination candidates must complete 0.5 units of Clinical Pastoral Education from an Accredited (ACPE) placement. Alternative forms of CPE may be approved by the Board of Ordained Ministry as an equivalent. Contact Rev. Jessie Colwell at jessiecolwell@vaumc.org.
The Board of Ordained Ministry in the Virginia Conference awards financial aid to those seeking to fulfill their Clinical Pastoral Education requirement for full membership in the United Methodist Church. Application can be found here
