A brief statement on your call to serve as a delegate:
Being a connectional church is one of the attractions of United Methodism for me. I believe we are better together than separately – with each congregation connected to each other, both close by and globally, we make a difference in witnessing to God’s work in the world. Helping to sustain our connectedness which nurtures each local church’s witness to the gospel is why I’ve felt a call to service as a delegate.
Specific prayer request(s) for the work ahead:
To always put the needs of our world-wide church in building God’s kin-dom ahead of any personal agenda or desires.
