¶120. The Mission—The mission of the Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Local Churches and extension ministries of the Church provide the most significant arenas through which disciple-making occurs.
A brief statement on your call to serve as a delegate:
I am a lifelong United Methodist, passionate about helping churches reach their communities, make disciples, and reach the next generation. I believe in the connectional church and hope we can continue to do great work around the world together. I want to help build an inclusive church for my two boys, my youth group students, and all who seek to be part of a United Methodist faith community.
Specific prayer request(s) for the work ahead:
I’d love prayers for confidence, peace, health, and stamina. 10 days is a long time to be away, so I’d also love prayers for my family and work back home.
