A brief statement on your call to serve as a delegate:
I have been in youth ministry for 20 +years. I can no longer preach and teach of inclusivity but have our denominational words/ideals be in contradiction. Young people want to be loved by an inclusive God and can smell out hypocrisy. Have you ever had to help a hurting teen, answer a question in a confirmation class or explain our differences to a new believer? I love being a United Methodist and my gift is to serve during this difficult time to help make a difference. I am hope filled.
