Favorite paragraph of the Book of Discipline (we all have one, right?):
The Social Principles (Part V, ¶ 160 – 166). I fondly remember the first time I read and discussed the Social Principles in a Sunday School class in my 20s. I love the beautiful revised version we’ll be voting on at General Conference.
A brief statement on your call to serve as a delegate:
I watched the livestream of the 2019 General Conference in tears. I had never considered serving as a General Conference delegate before that, but I felt a call to serve afterwards. I’m grateful for the nudging of the Spirit that brought me here, and I’m grateful for this delegation and all of the work we’ve done together to prepare for General Conference.

Please pray for each of us in the Virginia delegation, and for all 862 delegates who will join us in Charlotte. Please pray for the Spirit to move among us, and guide our work and our time together.
