Certified Lay Minister Renewal Applications
If you are here it means you have the following and are prepared to upload the necessary documentation for your Certified Lay Minister renewal application.
1. Receive a written recommendation from Church Council or Charge Conference.
You will be expected to upload this letter.
2. Receive a written recommendation from your Church Council or Charge Conference of which you are a member*.
You will need to upload this letter into your application.
3. Receive a written recommendation from Church Council or Charge Conference- if assigned to a different location than of which you are a member.
You will need to upload this letter into your application.
4. Provide Verification of Continuing Education
At least one CEU is required for every two years.
Candidates must upload documentation for continuing education: a certificate or typed report of CEU’s obtained and other continuing education events.
5. Receive a written Recommendation from the District Superintendent
You will be expected to upload this letter.
6. Provide a written Report on the last two years in Ministry. You will need to upload this report into your application.
7. Request an Interview with dCOM
When you have filled out the Jotform application and have hit submit, a copy of the application will be sent directly to your dCOM chair. They will contact you to schedule and interview.
