The Treasurer’s and Business office is responsible for accounting for all financial transactions for the Virginia Conference. One of the most important responsibilities of the office is to serve as a conduit for all Virginia Conference churches, channeling their funds to support ministries beyond the local church and into their chosen ministries in the conference, the United States and in more than 150 additional countries throughout the world. Additionally, the Business office staff serves as a resource to the churches and centers of the Virginia Conference providing support and training.
Online Apportionments
You can remit apportionments and other benevolences (Special Sundays, UMCOR, Virginia Advance Specials, etc) to the Conference Treasurer’s office through our payment portal Acumatica – Login. Payments can be scheduled at anytime. We process payments on Mondays at noon, on the second to last business day of each month at noon, and on the first business day of each month at noon. You will receive a confirmation email when you schedule a payment and also when we process the payment. If you need assistance with logging in, please email [email protected] or call 804-521-1100.
We also offer recurring payments for churches that like to pay the same amount each month; we do the work for you! Login to Acumatica and update your church banking information. Make a copy of your current church statement, mark what you would like processed each month by our office, sign the bottom and include your contact information. Email this authorization to [email protected]. We pull recurring payments each month on the third Monday.
Online giving solutions for churches offered through VANCO
