Together in Mission, Together in Grace
Partnerships of Hope nurtures relationships around the world to build community and inspire hope. By walking alongside others to help improve lives, we engage in mission with our partner brothers and sisters, becoming both givers and receivers of God’s grace. Partnerships of Hope is a worldwide mission ministry of the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. We partner with local churches and support them in becoming the engine of mission in their communities. Together, we seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Haiti
Haiti has been accepted as a new Partnership of Hope partner at the 2022 Virginia Conference. The POH Haiti team is searching for church partnerships, that will join with Eglise Methodiste d’ Haiti (EMH) to serve the people in Haiti.

Vietnam Methodist Mission
Vietnam Methodist Mission (VMM) was accepted as a new Partnership of Hope at the 2022 Virginia Annual Conference. The Partnership of Hope VMI team is beginning to dream about how God is calling the Virginia Conference churches to be in relationship with our friends through VMM and the General Board of Global Ministries. We will be exploring ways we can join together in VMM’s missional priorities through supporting next generation ministries particularly with youth, college students, and young adults; training of pastoral leadership, especially for women clergy; building and fundraising for churches; and equipping migrant children with tools to be educated. We are looking forward to where God is leading us to go next!
