MEDITATION ON SCRIPTURE: Meditating on a scripture while walking

  1. Choose 1 or 2 verses: Psalms is a good place to start
  2. Write down the scripture to take with you.
  3. Ask the Holy Spirit for openness of heart and a clear mind.
  4. Read and walk.
  5. Ponder on the words.
  6. At the end of the walk, consider what you experienced. You may want to record it in a journal.
  7. Give thanks to God for this time together.
