One day after the Feast of Saint Francis, the Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church invites laity and clergy to a creation-centered worship service, Wednesday, October 5, at 9:30 a.m. via ZOOM. Northern Virginia District Lay Leader Karen McElfish will preach the importance of earth and energy justice, and the Rev. Amy Dunn, pastor for Mechanicsville UMC, will preside over a blessing of the animals. All animals and their human companions are welcome!
