Annual Conference 2026 Orientation
We are thrilled that the Annual Conference body will gather this year at the Atlantic Union Bank Center at James Madison University (JMU) in Harrisonburg, Va. from June 17-20, 2026.
As this is a new venue for all attendees, and to make sure everyone feels prepared for the event, there will be an orientation session for ALL persons attending the Annual Conference on Thursday, May 28, at 7 p.m.
This orientation will provide helpful information about the venue and the conference as a whole and will provide opportunities for Q&A.
Volunteer to be Monitor
Help us continue building a more just, inclusive, and equitable Annual Conference. We’re inviting volunteers to serve as monitors during worship, plenary, and clergy/laity sessions—supporting this work by tracking participation and time. This effort is led by the Commissions on the Status and Role of Women, Religion and Race, and Disabilities, in partnership with the Office of Belonging and Advocacy.
Three volunteers are needed for each session, and you’re welcome to sign up for more than one slot. You must be an attendee of Annual Conference to serve.

Use new, interactive AC Calendar
This year, we are introducing a live, interactive Annual Conference schedule built on Teamup, the same calendar technology now used on our website. With the AC 2026 Events Calendar, you can browse sessions, meals, and events in the view that works best for you, with search and filtering built in. Each entry also includes registration and accessibility information where available. The Agenda PDF is still available if you’d like something you can download and reference offline. We look forward to being together again for worship, business, and fellowship at the 2026 Virginia Annual Conference at Atlantic Union Bank Center at James Madison University (JMU) in Harrisonburg, Va. from June 17-20, 2026.
Since this is our first time at this venue, expect future communications (print and video) to help acclimate you to the space including resources about accessibility, parking, and more.
