Rev. Dr. Martin Kersey Spilman, Sr., retired United Methodist Church clergy, resident of Lake Monticello, Virginia, passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 92. He is survived by his three children, Karolina, Martin, Jr., and Andrew; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren including one step great grandchild; his brother, William (Billy) Spilman; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the local Fluvanna Meals on Wheels.
Service will take place at Wesley’s Chapel UMC, 1809 Rolling Road, Scottsville, Virginia 24590 on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 12pm. Interment will be held at Quantico National Cemetery on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 11:30 am.
