Like Moses who experienced the burning bush in the Bible, this is my burning bush, United Theological College, where I was trained as a pastor. It is at this institution which transformed me from a young rural pastor to be what I am today, theological training. My name is Joseph Bonga.

I’m a pastor in the Zimbabwe East Annual Conference, and I also teach here at United Theological College, where we train, we mold pastors who would go out and preach the Word of God. There are some inspiring young pastors who I have tutored at this institution, like Brian Maeka, like Makoni. They are doing extremely well, and their churches are growing.

And more people are coming to Christ, and hence the need to raise funds to train more pastors who would go and man these new churches. It is in this regard that we come to you for your support, that you join the United Methodist Church to raise funds for theological training in Africa, in the Philippines, and in Europe. With your support, we can do great things.
