Hello, great people of God, United Methodists throughout the world. Thank you, and let me have just a piece of your attention for a while. I’m a living witness to what theological education has done in my life, and in the life of several others who will help in this little church to bring to ministry.

Let me, Hine, for example, he’s not here, but he’s greatly being parted by what we do together with the church for him. One day, Hine and I met. He walked up to the church together with us.

He wanted to be, he wanted to go to theological school, but he didn’t have any finances. And the church, through our former pastor, was able to recommend him, like he did recommend me. And today, Hine became a beneficiary of the theological education.

He’s now a great pastor, doing great ministry. He’s heading one of our ministries as well. There are several others in the community who are wishing to benefit as well.

And I ask you, Methodist people, all God-loving people, people of good heart, to support theological education so that these thousands of others who really want to do theology can have the benefit of finding ways to attend theological education. God bless you.
