Director of Senior Adult Ministries
Windsor Hills UMC, Roanoke, is seeking a part-time Director of Senior Adult Ministries (15-20 hours per week) to lead the most vibrant senior adults’ ministry in the Roanoke Valley. Duties would primarily include monthly programming, visitation, occasional preaching, along with some to be negotiated to make use of the individual’s personal spiritual gifts and to enhance our team’s overall ministry. Communications Director
Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Stafford, VA, is seeking a full-time Communications Director to plan, develop and implement all communication strategies that promote Ebenezer Church in order to achieve Ebenezer’s mission. The selected individual will develop and implement a communications plan to drive broader awareness and support for the church and its programs; build, lead and manage teams to support all facets of church-wide communications and communication products (print, visuals, audio) on all platforms; facilitate proactive communications ideas, calendaring, and church-wide and ministry-specific initiatives; ensure consistency and accuracy of all things print and electronic, looking for clear communication, brand presence and consistency; manage the church’s social media platforms and website content; remain current on creative communications and technological trends and look for opportunities to use this information to more effectively communicate with the community and church family; create, implement and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing and communications program that will enhance Ebenezer’s image and position in the community; create and oversee branding guidelines for Ebenezer; develop and manage relationships with marketing vendors (printers, etc.); collaborate with the Director of Technology to produce artwork for video and motion graphic projects; collaborate with worship leaders to develop message-related sermon series graphics; identify current trends in graphic design and promote new ideas to expand the scope of the church’s graphic design capabilities; and prepare and manage the communications budget. The ideal candidate will have at least a B.A. degree, 3-5 years’ experience developing strategy and managing communications via multiple channels for both external and internal audiences, project management experience, excellent editing, written and verbal communication skills, a highly collaborative style, strong track record as an implementer, and knowledge of media production. Video/Media Producer (Part-time)

Children’s Minister
Lexington UMC in Lexington, SC, is searching for a full-time Children’s Minister who will be responsible for providing visionary leadership for children’s ministry and promoting and communicating the program to the congregation. The Children’s Minister is expected to work alongside clergy, staff and church leadership in order to generate program growth by bringing new families into the church and increasing the number of children and families involved in children’s ministry. Property Manager
Main Street UMC, Suffolk, is seeking a Property Manager to begin in June who will work with the Pastor and other staff to see that all areas of church property and equipment are maintained. Sound and Media Technician
Trinity United Methodist Church in Poquoson, VA is seeking a part-time, 10-15 hours per week, Sound and Media Technician to work in conjunction with the Senior Pastor and Music Director to provide a visual and auditory multimedia worship experience for those who attend our worship services or worship with us online. This person will be responsible for preparing and presenting all multimedia elements, including PPT, video clips, sound bites, or any audiovisual and auditory elements needed for the Sunday 8:45 Contemporary and 11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Services, and special services and programs. This will include sound and multimedia production for funerals, weddings, and special events held at the church.
