Duncan Memorial UMC seeks an Organist/Accompanist. This part-time position provides music for our 10:30 Sunday service, accompanies the choir in the service and their weekly rehearsal, and provides accompaniment to our special season services, weddings and funerals. Duncan Memorial has a Schantz 35-rank, 3 manual organ, built in 1989. Our weekly Sunday 10:30 AM service is a live broadcast, blending various types of music, instrumentalists, and elements, including weekly communion. Duncan Memorial UMC is the campus chapel of Randolph-Macon College, a proud part of the United Methodist Church and seeks to serve the wider community “as a loving faith community where all are sought, welcomed, nurtured and transformed to be Christ in the world.”
