Nursery Staff Worker

Kenwood United Methodist Church, Ashland, VA  is seeking a Nursery Staff Worker to provide dependable, safe, secure and nurturing care to the children while at church, ages 0 through 5 years old in a clean environment.

• Part -time position consisting of 2 hours each Sunday Morning. Other hours as needed, $15 per hour
• Responsibilities – Responsible for providing age-appropriate care which includes:, maintaining a safe environment, holding children if needed, and sitting with and cheerfully interacting with children through games, stories, play and prayer.
• Qualifications – Experience in caring for children between the ages of 0 to 5 with the ability to adapt and interact with a variety of personalities.
• Termination Policy – There will be a 60-day probationary period where either party may terminate employment without cause. Beyond this, a two-week notice is expected.
• Must pass background check (if over 18) and abide by Kenwood Child Protection Policy
