Minister to Students

Bethia UMC, Chesterfield, VA, is seeking a Minister of Students to lead ministry for children and youth.  This is a part time position, approximately 12 to 15 hours per week, salary negotiable.  Responsibilities include overseeing/leading Sunday School classes, Sunday evening activities/missions, Bible Studies, as well as seasonal events/retreats.  The Minister to Students will be responsible for communicating/connecting with families, working with the Family Ministries Team, and coordinating volunteers for this vibrant area in our church.
Experience in working with children or teenagers is required, along with the ability to pass a background check/Safe Sanctuary training (UMC safety certification).
