Main Street UMC in Waynesboro is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and loving person with a passion for intergenerational ministry to develop and nurture a ministry for people of all ages, striving to guide, equip, and support them as they grow as Christian disciples.
This is a 20-hour per week position, with at least 10 hours per week spent onsite. Bachelor Degree preferred; experience in effective intergenerational ministry leadership as well as training others to work with all ages is required. Must demonstrate a strong passion for family ministry, strong organizational skills, and an ability communicate with people of all ages, work with other ministry leaders, delegate responsibility, and follow up to complete tasks.
The focus of this position will be on planning, promoting, and coordinating programs for children, youth, and families, including an annual Vacation Bible School.
