United Methodist History class will explore the history of the United Methodist Church, tracing its origin to John Wesley in 1700s and later its establishment and expansion as one of the major mainline denominations in the U.S. and the world. History reveals many challenges, shortcomings, and triumphs that this body experienced, yet, it continued to offer Christ and the good news.
