Taste of Suffok & Main Street UMC Mission and Ministry Fair (Main Street UMC, Suffolk)

Taste of Suffok & Main Street UMC Mission and Ministry Fair, Main Street UMC, 202 North Main Street, Suffolk, VA 23434. September 9, 2023, 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. Taste of Suffolk is an annual street fair held each September along Main Street which is closed to vehicle traffic. Main Street UMC will showcase local missions that they support such as CAPS (Coalition Against Poverty in Suffolk) and Suffolk Christian Fellowship Feeding Ministry. In addition, our Scouts will recruit new members and the Happy Hands ministry will sell handmade items with proceeds going to CAPS. Children who pass by will be given new backpack tags. The church will be open for tours and organ concerts on the hour. There is also going to be a classic car show set up in the church parking lot. Featured during the street fair is a Plein Air art show and wet paint sale. Artists will complete a painting in two hours for the sale.
