We’re all seeing and reading about the racial tension that has swept across our nation. We’ve been cooped up for months. Our routines have been upended. These unsettling times have prompted the men of the Southeastern Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church to organize a National Day of Prayer to invoke change and to give thanks. The Prayer Day will be from 1 pm to 4 pm ET on July 25.
Andrew Kissell, former Virginia Conference UMMen president and currently president elect of the Southeastern Jurisdiction UMMen, will be one of the hosts. Virginia Conference Bishop Sharma D. Lewis will be one of the presenters. Full panel information is available here.
