I am the First District Superintendent of the United Methodist Church in Guinea, established in Dicke. I would not have the position if I were not a theology colleague in CLAM. I benefited from a theological education in Nigeria.
I went to school in 2006 and I came out in 2011 and I am serving as a First District Superintendent of the Guinea Circuit. Very happy, I can remember a scripture that I always have courage with, Romans 8, 28, that says, everything that goes around, God is in it for the betterment of the Christian. So, I want to advise that even though I did my theological education during the Civil War, but today it is benefiting a lot of people that have turned their lives to Christ.
So we have more than 20 pastors where we are that does not have the theological education yet. So, we are asking our brothers, the good way people, to really help to finance the theological education in order for the people, for us to get manpower on the field. According to the scripture, they say the rain is red, but the harvesters are less.
So, that is it. We are asking our brothers, the United Methodist, to give generally so that the education, the theological knowledge will be expanded for our church to grow in Guinea.
