Carol was a decades-long staff member of the Virginia Annual Conference and was a familiar face even in retirement as she would often fill in at the front desk of the conference center. Please join us in remembering Carol and her faithfulness in her life and servant leadership with the VAUMC.
Carolyn A. Crawford, 81, of Roanoke, VA formerly of Henrico County, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026. Born on April 10, 1944, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Crawford. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Mason (Paul) and Leslie West; four grandchildren, Tiffini Mason (Joseph), Lexis Spence (Miles), Raymond and Kody; and one great-grandchild, Jazmyne. A viewing will be held at Serenity Funeral Home, located at 5214 Airport Road, Roanoke, VA 24012, on Tuesday, March 24th at 12:00pm followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm in the Serenity Chapel.
