Native American Ministries Sunday serves to remind United Methodists of the gifts and contributions made by Native Americans to our society. A gap in knowledge exists in The United Methodist Church, in congregations and other United Methodist entities, relative to comprehending concepts of Native American life, cultures, languages, spirit, values, contemporary issues, and such. Partnerships of Hope Native American Ministries (Team leader: Rev. Larry Jent) invites churches of the Virginia Annual Conference to celebrate Native American Ministries on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

The NAMS offering is used to provide scholarships and programs to develop leadership among Native Americans. Half of the offering is dedicated to the Partnerships of Hope Native American Ministries, in the continual support for awareness and NAM around the Common Wealth.
