Local churches have options to have their congregations give to the church’s offering online. The conference Treasurer’s Office presents a special option available to churches through VANCO.
Local Church Online Giving
VANCO has a special offer forchurches , waiving their monthly fee as well as bank/credit card processing fees. You can share with your members the news that there is free processing so 100 percent of their gift goes directly to their church. There are no long-term contracts and you can cancel at any time.
Ways individuals can give online:
1. Checking or savings account
2. Credit card
Gather information for application:
1. Church’s Federal Tax ID
2. Name of person responsible for finances at the church and the last 4 digits of their Social Security Number; this should be the Treasurer or Finance Chairperson
3. A voided check from the church bank account to make sure the funds are deposited to the correct account
4. First page of the church’s most recent bank statement to verify the bank account and routing number
