The VAUMC Creation Justice Work Group is eager to recognize your church’s efforts to live more justly with each other and all of God’s Creation through the Green Church Award and Sustaining Green Church Awards. These awards are a meaningful way to honor congregations that have committed to Creation Justice and are actively demonstrating it in their church life and ministry.
We are excited to accept nominations and honor congregations that are doing the critical work of Creation Care across the ministry areas of Worship, Discipleship, Stewardship, Evangelism, and Mission, and that have signed or are considering signing the VAUMC Green Church Initiative. Remember, every effort counts as we work to Care for Creation in your church and in your community.
