Youth Ministry: What’s Now & What’s Next (via Zoom)

April 8, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

Youth Ministry: What’s Now & What’s Next

An invitation from the Alexandria/Arlington Bi-District

When: Thursday, April 8 from 10:00-2:30 via Zoom.
Speaker: Mike Crain, Lead Consultant, Ministry Architects

Youth ministry is difficult in normal times and the pandemic has made it even harder. The Youth Ministry: What’s Now & What’s Next event will offer encouragement, ideas, and strategies for engaging teenagers in faith right now as the pandemic continues as well as in the return to more familiar times. This event is for those who work in youth ministry full-time, part-time, or on a volunteer basis.

We were unable to bring in a live speaker for the youth ministry track at Bi-District Training Day this year due to the format changes, so we’ve asked Ministry Architects to prepare a training event to help encourage and inspire area youth leaders. This training will be in three parts beginning with the April 8 workshop. After the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in two additional follow-up conversations with the facilitator to ask additional questions, reflect on any ideas or changes that may have been implemented, and to be together (via Zoom) with other youth leaders to share and learn from one another. These workshops will be recorded for those who are unable to attend live.

Cost:
$5 for Arlington, Alexandria, & Winchester District participants
$10 for out-of-district attendees

Registration is required. Register here.
