Learn more about accessibility at Atlantic Union Bank Center (AUBC)

Accessible parking: The Ballard Parking Deck, adjacent to the Atlantic Union Bank Center (AUBC) provides ample parking. The parking deck has designated accessible parking spots on each level. Each floor of the parking deck is equipped with an elevator located next to the accessible parking spaces.

Entering the facility: from the parking deck into the AUBC, there is a level plaza leading into two entrances to the facility: Plaza Entrance and Champions Entrance.

Both will take you onto the concourse level of the Center. The Plaza Entrance (the largest entrance) will place you right at registration.

Navigating the facility:

Concourse Level: Please remember this is a basketball arena. Amenities from universal accessible restrooms, family and all-gender; first aid, water stations and recycling options are available on the concourse level.

As such, this may determine the best seating locations for your needs.

The Atlantic Union Bank Center has a lactation room located in Room 1079A.

Floor Level: There is an elevator (past the Champions Entrance) that will take you down to the floor level.

Accessible seating: Sections 103 and 105 on the concourse level will accommodate wheelchairs and scooters. Additional accessible seating is available in sections 102 and 104 and on the floor level of the Center with clear sight view of the stage. The spaces will be clearly marked.

Access for those with hearing and vision challenges: Assisted listening devices will be available with sign-out of the equipment at the Accessibility Assistance table (located on the concourse level of Atlantic Union Bank Center near registration). American Sign Language interpreters will be provided for all sessions.

Real-time captions and translation are also available during Annual Conference. You can use your personal device and scan the QR code OR enter in the website for multiple languages including French, Korean and Spanish. Website and QR code will be provided at the beginning of the Annual Conference session and at the Help Desk. Captioning in English will still be available on the large screens in the main plenary/worship space.
