A Taste of Taize, Fairlington UMC, 3900 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22302. October 17th @ 10:30am and 7:00pm. Fairlington UMC is blessed to be joined by Brother Emile from the Ecumenical Community at Taizé, France. He will lead us in two community events on Tuesday, October 17:
10:30am – Chapel – Bible study on the theme of the Beatitudes, with emphasis on Matthew 5:3, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
7pm – Chapel – Prayer service in the style of the Community at Taizé, with scripture and contemplative music and silence. View/download the flyer HERE.
