This year’s Ira Andrews Lecture at Randolph-Macon College and Duncan Memorial UMC will explore the theme of CONGREGATIONS CARING FOR THEIR COMMUNITY. Join us on Tuesday, Oct 25 at 6:30 p.m at Duncan Memorial UMC on the R-MC Campus. Led by Dr. Maria Fleshood, LPC, MDiv, DMin, the lecture is free and open to the public. Church members who are involved in mission, evangelism, pastoral care, and other areas of leadership in your congregation will especially find Dr. Fleshood’s presentation meaningful and insightful. No registration is required for the evening event. Please share with your church members or others in the area whom you believe might be interested in exploring this topic together. Additionally, there is a full day (1:00-7:30 pm) event open to clergy where three topics are explored: Clergy Self-Care, Caring for our Congregations, and then the public lecture focused on Congregations Caring for the Community. More information on the full-day event can be found at https://www.rmc.edu/offices/chaplain.
