The Virginia Annual Conference and Virginia United Methodist Foundation have partnered on the Emergency Food Response Fund. This fund is designed to bridge the gap for neighbors facing increased food insecurity during the government shutdown. This fund helps local UMC-connected food pantries and community feeding ministries as well as larger relief networks serving the Commonwealth Feeding America, FeedMore, etc.

This week, we were able to award funding to 67 food pantries in the Virginia Conference. Please help us celebrate and pray over all VAUMC missions seeking to be in community for their neighbors at this time.
