Update on All God’s Children Camp

All God’s Children Camp (AGCC)  has been an essential ministry of the Virginia Annual Conference since 1999.  This meaningful ministry serves children who have an incarcerated parent,  showing them the love of God and giving them an opportunity to express and heal their hearts. It is a ministry that allows them to learn they are truly somebody.  The camp throughout the years has been blessed by the support of all the churches of the VAUMC, faithful leaders and organizations, and the board of All God’s Children Camp.

We are especially thankful for the work of Mrs. Lori Smith who directed the camp for eight years. Lori will be stepping down from the director’s position, and we are grateful that a contracting relationship with Lori was established to continue to serve and help prepare for AGCC in 2022. In the meantime, I will serve as an interim director as the Board of AGCC searches and discerns the best way to continue the great ministry of the camp.  In partnership, Lori and I will both oversee preparations for the meaningful ministry this summer and the ways God will show up in and amongst our campers and mentors.

We are in the process of accepting registrations for campers, mentors, and junior mentors so please visit  or visit our Facebook page at All God’s Children Camp for more information. As always, you can email us at any time at [email protected].  We pray that all the churches of the VAUMC, other organizations, and individuals will continue with their much-needed prayers and support so that the ministry of AGCC will continue to thrive. Thank you.

In Christ,

Rev. Seungsoo ‘RJ’ Jun

Associate Director of Serving Ministries
