In June 2008, the Virginia Conference approved ALL THINGS NEW that stated, “Resourcing of leadership must become the primary focus of the conference as new and existing faith communities are empowered to witness to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.” As of January 1, 2012, the Virginia Conference continued aligning all ministry areas with this focus on leadership development by creating ministry centers for excellence.
