Youth Ministry Director

Haymarket Church is seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Youth Ministry Director to help lead the church’s thriving youth ministry. The Youth Ministry Director is responsible for nurturing Christian faith in youth (grades 6-12) and developing/equipping/facilitating a team of adult leaders and parents who partner in that work. Responsibilities include weekly Sunday evening youth programming, presence and support during Sunday morning worship, leading other programs (including the week long summer mission trip, confirmation class, special events, Bible studies, adventures, etc.), spending time with youth/parents outside of church programming. A successful candidate must have strong Christian faith and a commitment to strengthening the life of the church. This position also requires a willingness to work as a positive contributor in a team environment and the adaptability that is necessary for success in a mobile-church setting. Strong team leadership, communication and organizational skills are essential. Compensation: $22,000/year (20 hours/week).
