Director of Music Ministry

Sydenstricker United Methodist Church is looking for a full-time (32 hours a week) Director of Music Ministry.  The successful candidate is an individual of Christian faith with training and experience in choral and hand bell direction.  The Director of Music Ministry is responsible for the direction, implementation, scheduling, and enhancement of the music program at Sydenstricker and works closely with the Senior Pastor to provide a passionate, meaningful worship where people can experience God.  The Director of Music Ministry is responsible for all individuals and groups providing music for worship services and should have a desire to grow adult, youth and children’s vocal and bell groups by providing adequate direction, leadership, instruction, practice and performance across the broad spectrum of ages, musical abilities, and worship experience levels. Please visit the SUMC website for a complete job description and information on how to apply.
