How You Can Help:
-Mentoring: Volunteers come from churches across the conference to spend the week at camp. Mentors do not lead activities, but provide supervision, companionship and compassion to the children during their daily activities. They are the ones who assure the children that they are indeed all God’s children and God loves and cares about them in the midst of their struggles. After camp, mentors agree to maintain their contact with their campers by phone or letters throughout the school year. Mentors are adults ages 17 and up. They attend training the Sunday morning prior to the week of camp. It is an intense, yet extremely rewarding experience. (visit Mentor page)
-Financial Contribution: The camp is funded by individuals, groups, and churches. A scholarship of $400 sends one child to camp. Please make checks payable to VA Conference UMC with AGCC in the memo. Send all contributions to our office or use the donation button above.
-All God’s Children Camp Supplies:
There is a POD set up at the Conference Office (10330 Staples Mill Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060) to serve as a drop off for donated items for All God’s Children Camp. Items may be dropped off anytime during regular business hours (8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., M-F). Below is a list of items needed. Questions may be directed to Lori Smith at 571-245-9591 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks in advance for your donations.

-Transportation: Most of these families are not able to transport the campers to and from camp. We need church groups and individuals to help with this effort on Sunday afternoon and Friday afternoon of the camp weeks. We have campers from across the state so we need help in all regions.
-Evening Programs: We need volunteer groups to come out in the evening to present special programs, missions, or just visit with our campers. Do you know of a neat performance group in the areas of camp? Pass on their information for us!
-Prayer: The camp and children need your prayers. Alarming statistics show that these children are more likely than their peers to have behavioral problems, trouble in school, and likely to eventually be incarcerated. We hope to give these children the chance to break this cycle.
