Stewardship and Capital Campaign Resources A resource booklet, “Stewardship and Capital Campaign Resources, Programs, and Packages,” has been developed by the Engaging Team of the Virginia Conference Board of Laity. The booklet can be downloaded by clicking here. A team of individuals is being developed which can assist with stewardship education and training in your church. These individuals will be available to come to your church to assist you in your stewardship efforts. Living for Giving The Engaging Team of the Virgnia Conference Board of Laity, in collaboration with the Virginia United Methodist Foundation, is making available a DVD series called “Living for Giving: A Wesleyan View of Stewardship.” Written and narrated by Bishop Kenneth Carder, this is a five-session study consisting of narration and vignettes on video followed by a discussion designed for small groups and Sunday School classes as well as leaders in stewardship and finance. The series is devoted to leading disciples on a journey to uncover the biblical and theological basis for the practice of stewardship as a spiritual discipline. This is a great study to use as a part of your stewardship emphasis. Cost of the DVD is $25 which includes shipping and handling.
