The Virginia Conference is involved in ministries in a wide range of areas — evangelism, social justice, ministry with persons with disabilities, disaster response, mission, campus ministry, ministry with children and youth, ministry with older adults, ministry with families, ministries specifically for men and women, ethnic ministries, discipleship, communications, the laity — all under the umbrella of Connectional Ministries and in line with the vision developed by the Common Table. These conference offices help provide local churches with expertise in reaching out to all God’s people to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
