Pensions seeks executive director
Virginia United Methodist Pensions, Inc. (VUMPI) has announced changes in the VUMPI staff responsibilities, and a search for an executive director.
Don Rogers resigned as executive director of VUMPI on July 2. The Board will be conducting a search to fill that position. The position description is posted on this site at www.vaumc.org/jobs. In order to have a smooth transition and VUMPI continue to operate at full capacity, the Rev. Clarence Brown, president of the VUMPI Board, has asked Betty Forbes to serve as interim executive director. Forbes may be reached at (804) 521-1128, Tuesday – Thursday each week.
Staff responsibility changes made in February are: Trish Hutchinson, accounting manager, reduced her work hours to three days per week (Tuesday – Thursday). Her primary responsibilities are the bookkeeping and accounting for the VUMPI office. Hutchinson may be reached at (804) 521-1129.
Nancy Blair, benefits administrator, assumed the responsibilities for the pension plans (CRSP, MPP, Pre-82, UMPIP) and welfare plans (CPP, Life and Disability). She may be reached at (804) 521-1130.
Judy Astrella, billing and Health Plan administrator, retained her responsibility as billing administrator and assumed the responsibility for the health plans (Conference Health, Retiree, Lay Health, Dental, Prescription, Flex Spending Accounts, Long-Term Care).
