Virginia Conference Christian Educators Fellowship (CEF)
Christian Educators Fellowship is a local and national organization of persons who have responsibility in the area of Christian education, nurture and discipleship for children, youth and adults.
It is a community of professionals seeking to bring together Christian educators, youth workers, directors of children and adult ministries, program directors, pastors, and everyone with a commitment and responsibility for the many expressions of Christian education ministries.
The CEF of the Virginia Conference offers professional and personal development through local meetings, field trips, an annual retreat, information for continuing educational opportunities and an internet discussion group for the ongoing exchange of ideas and resources.
The annual Virginia Conference CEF Retreat is designed by members to focus on time for the spiritual renewal and enrichment of persons who work or volunteer in their local churches and communities.
The National CEF holds a Biennial Conference which offers members time for continuing education, networking, inspiration and renewal. The next national conference will be held October 24-27, 2008 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Details are available at www.cef2008.org.
